CLASS IV – CERTIFIED REBUILT TRUCK

All Class IV – Certified Rebuilt trucks by Andersen & Associates are processed through our shops as follows:

1.    All units are totally disassembled, steam cleaned and checked for structural integrity - straightened/repaired/welded as necessary.


2.    Drive Units:  are totally disassembled, inspected for wear and damaged components, rebuilt, painted and reinstalled in chassis.


3.    Caster Assemblies:  are totally disassembled, inspected for wear and damage.  Rebuilt, painted and reinstalled in chassis.


4.    Motors:  are totally disassembled, inspected for wear and damaged components.  Motors are rebuilt or replaced with rebuilt assemblies.


5.    Hydraulic Pumps:  are checked for shaft wear, leaks and pressure.  Pumps are rebuilt or replaced as required.


6.    Valves:  are inspected for wear and damage.  Resealed or replaced as necessary.


7.    Wiring Harness:  is inspected and repaired or replaced as necessary.


8.    Hose Assemblies:  are inspected and replaced as necessary.


9.    Electrical Panels:  are cleaned, inspected for wear or damaged components.  Contact tips are replaced; heat sinks and SCR are reinsulated and reinstalled in chassis.  All switches are replaced throughout the truck

10.    Controller:  is disassembled and inspected for wear and physical damage, rebuilt and reinstalled in chassis.


11.    Voltage Protection:  all units receive appropriate voltage protection and discharge meters.


12.    Mast Assemblies:  are totally disassembled and inspected for wear and physical damage.  Lift rams are inspected for nicks and gouges and rechromed if necessary.  Mast uprights are reassembled and shimmed.  Lift cylinders are repacked and installed in the mast.  Lift chains are replaced.


13.    Carriage Assemblies:  are totally disassembled and inspected for wear and damage.  Components are repaired or replaced and reassembled, shimmed and reinstalled in mast assembly.  All rams are repacked.


14.    Brake System:  is totally disassembled and inspected for wear and physical damage.  Components are rebuilt or replaced as necessary.


15.    Wheels and Tires:  are replaced with new.


16.    After reassembly the truck is tested and inspected under load conditions to meet original manufacturer’s specifications.


17.    Unit is externally painted and detailed to order.
